Real Estate Video
Well, for what it's worth, if I would have made $150 for my video that I just posted on my blog today, I would have made less than $12/hour! At least that was my calculation after my shooting time, digitizing, editing, putting it into a postable form and finding a place to upload it...
I'd say $150 to have the pros do it would be a steal!
I have done some videos myself but that is a sharp production.
Ron- It is time cosuming...so we certainly think it's a steal at this price!
Michael- Thanks so much...we're really proud of our work :-)
$150 is a great price for the quality product you & TJ produce! I bet you will be slammed all month!
As a client, I will testify that I would think to get this price I would have to point a gun at you. I am going to run a special in conjunction with it... because this rocks.
Thanks, Lane! No gun needed this time...you can bring us a drink instead ;-)
Thanks, Jeremy. That is our intent! We really hope agents see the value in this product. For most of our local papers and magazines, you have to pay around $100-$175 for a one day ad (and that's not even a full page) and after that day, you're done! Video has "legs" that can be used in a number of different ways. So it's a nominal cost for multiple advertising venues :-)
I think you are going to need it... Should we all go to NOLA?
Sounds like a plan to me, Lane! BTW: I forgot to ask you...what is your conjunction special?
I'll buy the video on my listings... as soon as I take some that are going to sell...
Here's something one of the local brokerages is doing with the above special. They are offering the deal to their current listings and asking if the seller wants to pay for it. Once their house sells, the agents are going to give the money back out of their commission. This is a great idea for agents with multiple listings to get video on your site and to present a new, cost effective (not to mention "cool") option to the seller! Great idea Elaine and Carol :-)
Woah.... that is an incredible price! I'll contact some of our agents in Atlanta and inform them of this. Thanks for the post.
Thank you, Relocation Professionals!! We look forward to working with your agents :-)
Great idea about getting the seller to front the money and get paid back. This sounds wonderful! Is this common in your area or is this new for you? (It's new to me).
Thanks, Maya. I believe video, in general, is still fairly new to the real estate world in that few agents are actually implementing it into their business. That's why we're trying to make it as cost effective as possible (in this case cheaper than a one day print ad!) to get agents on board. It has a HUGE impact with both buyers and sellers :-)
